HOW WRITERS WRITE POETRY March/April 2017
7-Week Online Workshop based on lectures from the Iowa University online course

27 February- 16 April 2017

Based on the tremendous success of last year’s HOW WRITERS WRITE POETRY workshop, Coill will repeat this 7-week-wonder in March/April 2017 – using some of last year’s lectures as well as new material for inspiration. This workshop will include weekly video talks by revered poets, inspiring readings, superbly crafted writing assignments and online workshopping of your drafts. Watch the 2015 course video here. Testimonials from the Coill How Writers Write Poetry Support Workshop in 2015:

I thought it worked really well – I would never have managed the course at all if I’d been doing it by myself on the main forum. It was really enjoyable, inspirational, and definitely got me thinking about poetry and what it means.

All the feedback was invaluable and encouraging too – I’d definitely consider doing it again!

I really like the format of your courses, and the enthusiasm and positivity from everyone, as well as your own really useful input.
